Boarding starts 30 minutes before departure and ends 5 minutes before the time displayed on your ticket.
IZY stops at two city centre stations: Paris-Nord and Brussels-Midi. They are both accessible by public transport and have a wide range of services, with a particularly large choice of restaurants. We remind you that there is no bar on board the IZY trains.
At Paris-Nord station, security gates are in operation at the entrance of the IZY platforms. Before boarding the train, each passenger must pass through these gates and have their luggage scanned.
At Brussels-Midi station, police authorities and security staff may conduct random checks on passengers as well as their luggage.
To ensure comfortable boarding without any rush, we recommend that you arrive at the station 30 minutes before departure.
You must buy your ticket before boarding the train. Tickets are checked on the platform before departure, including the extra luggage option. Any cases of non-compliance must be resolved or the passenger will not be allowed to board the train. Please present your printed e-ticket or the valid and legible bar-code on your smartphone for the ticket inspection.
If your ticket is not valid for the IZY train or you wish to take additional or oversize luggage which you have not paid for in advance, you must present yourself to an IZY member of staff on the platform and make the payment before boarding. You can pay by debit card (CB, Bancontact and Maestro),credit card (Visa and Mastercard) or by cash.
To avoid hassle while boarding, we strongly advise you to buy your ticket and optional extras in advance.
